Scorpion Housing tools: what they help with
These calculators size your scorpion's living space: the minimum and recommended dimensions, how much bedding or substrate to buy and what fits in the space you have. Too little space is one of the most common welfare problems in pets. The right size gives a scorpion room to move, rest and behave normally.
What to know about housing and enclosure size for scorpions
Scorpion venom potency varies enormously by species, so identify yours before handling anything. Most keepers choose the docile emperor scorpion, which needs deep damp substrate, high humidity and a secure hide. Target humidity is around 40-60%.

Treat the minimum as the floor, not the goal. Bigger is almost always better, especially for active or social species.
