Peafowl Production tools: what they help with
These calculators estimate what a peafowl produces, such as eggs, milk, wool or meat, based on breed, age and how it is kept. For a smallholding, realistic yield numbers decide how many animals you need and whether the feed bill makes sense.
What to know about production and yield for peafowl
Peafowl typically live 15 to 20 years. Peafowl need substantial space and tall roosting, and peacocks call loudly through the breeding season. They roam and fly well, so containment requires a very large covered pen or acceptance that they will wander.

A practical tip
Expect yields to drop with age, heat, molting and stress. Plan around the average year, not the best one.
