Pigeon Environment tools: what they help with
These tools check the conditions your pigeon lives in: temperature and humidity ranges, lighting distances, heater sizing and other habitat numbers. Many pigeons cannot regulate their own body temperature or humidity. When the enclosure is off, health problems follow, often slowly enough that they are missed.
What to know about environment and habitat conditions for pigeons
Pigeons are intelligent, calm and unusually trainable. Kept indoors they need pigeon pants or a dedicated room; kept outdoors they need a predator-proof loft with perches sized so the bird's chest rests on the ledge. Target humidity is around 40-60%.

A practical tip
Measure with a digital thermometer and hygrometer at the animal's level, not near the heat source. Readings a few centimetres apart can differ a lot.
