Quaker Parrot Environment tools: what they help with
These tools check the conditions your Quaker parrot lives in: temperature and humidity ranges, lighting distances, heater sizing and other habitat numbers. Many Quaker parrots cannot regulate their own body temperature or humidity. When the enclosure is off, health problems follow, often slowly enough that they are missed.
What to know about environment and habitat conditions for Quaker parrots
Quakers are the only parrot that builds a stick nest, and captive birds still weave obsessively. They are illegal to keep in several regions because escaped flocks establish easily. Provide nesting material and a sturdy cage. Target humidity is around 40-60%.

Measure with a digital thermometer and hygrometer at the animal's level, not near the heat source. Readings a few centimetres apart can differ a lot.
