Leopard Gecko Housing tools: what they help with
These calculators size your leopard gecko's living space: the minimum and recommended dimensions, how much bedding or substrate to buy and what fits in the space you have. Too little space is one of the most common welfare problems in pets. The right size gives a leopard gecko room to move, rest and behave normally.
What to know about housing and enclosure size for leopard geckos
A single adult needs at least a 90x45cm floor area with a warm hide around 32C, a cool hide, and a humid hide to help shedding. Belly heat from a mat with a thermostat matters more than overhead heat. Target humidity is around 30-40%.
