Land Crab Environment tools: what they help with
These tools check the conditions your land crab lives in: temperature and humidity ranges, lighting distances, heater sizing and other habitat numbers. Many land crabs cannot regulate their own body temperature or humidity. When the enclosure is off, health problems follow, often slowly enough that they are missed.
What to know about environment and habitat conditions for land crabs
Land crabs need both fresh and brackish water access plus deep damp substrate to burrow and molt in. They are territorial and will fight if kept too densely, so allow ample floor space per animal. Target humidity is around 70-85%.

A practical tip
Measure with a digital thermometer and hygrometer at the animal's level, not near the heat source. Readings a few centimetres apart can differ a lot.
