Coral Environment tools: what they help with
These tools check the conditions your coral lives in: temperature and humidity ranges, lighting distances, heater sizing and other habitat numbers. Many corals cannot regulate their own body temperature or humidity. When the enclosure is off, health problems follow, often slowly enough that they are missed.
What to know about environment and habitat conditions for corals
Corals are colonial animals, not plants, and depend on stable salinity, alkalinity, calcium and strong lighting. They are the least forgiving part of a reef tank, where stability matters more than any single value.

A practical tip
Measure with a digital thermometer and hygrometer at the animal's level, not near the heat source. Readings a few centimetres apart can differ a lot.
