Chameleon Environment tools: what they help with
These tools check the conditions your chameleon lives in: temperature and humidity ranges, lighting distances, heater sizing and other habitat numbers. Many chameleons cannot regulate their own body temperature or humidity. When the enclosure is off, health problems follow, often slowly enough that they are missed.
What to know about environment and habitat conditions for chameleons
Chameleons need a tall screen enclosure with heavy planting, a basking spot, strong UVB and a dripper or misting system, since most will not drink from standing water. They are visual-stress sensitive and should be housed alone. Target humidity is around 50-70%.

A practical tip
Measure with a digital thermometer and hygrometer at the animal's level, not near the heat source. Readings a few centimetres apart can differ a lot.
