Shrimp Housing tools: what they help with
These calculators size your shrimp's living space: the minimum and recommended dimensions, how much bedding or substrate to buy and what fits in the space you have. Too little space is one of the most common welfare problems in pets. The right size gives a shrimp room to move, rest and behave normally.
What to know about housing and enclosure size for aquarium shrimp
Aquarium shrimp are acutely sensitive to copper and to sudden parameter swings, and need a fully cycled planted tank. They are small enough to be eaten by most fish, so a species-only tank usually works best.

A practical tip
Treat the minimum as the floor, not the goal. Bigger is almost always better, especially for active or social species.
