Leopard Gecko Environment tools: what they help with
These tools check the conditions your leopard gecko lives in: temperature and humidity ranges, lighting distances, heater sizing and other habitat numbers. Many leopard geckos cannot regulate their own body temperature or humidity. When the enclosure is off, health problems follow, often slowly enough that they are missed.
What to know about environment and habitat conditions for leopard geckos
A single adult needs at least a 90x45cm floor area with a warm hide around 32C, a cool hide, and a humid hide to help shedding. Belly heat from a mat with a thermostat matters more than overhead heat. Target humidity is around 30-40%.

Measure with a digital thermometer and hygrometer at the animal's level, not near the heat source. Readings a few centimetres apart can differ a lot.
